GLIAC - The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced the 2025-26 Men's Tennis postseason awards prior to the start of the 2026 GLIAC Tournament in Midland, Michigan. Davenport had a pair of student-athletes recognized this year in fifth-year senior
Jan Stolin (Louny, Czech Rep.) and senior
Jaden Bender (Zeeland, Mich./Holland Christian).
Stolin earned all-conference honors for the third time in his career. He was named First Team All-GLIAC in 2023-24 and Second Team All-GLIAC in 2022-23. Stolin compiled 11 singles wins this season, including 10 wins in dual matches. In his career, Jan now has 61 singles wins to put him third all-time in Davenport history. He also has 11 doubles wins this season to push his career total to 50, which stands in a tie for sixth in school history.
Bender is a second-year player with the Panthers and earning all-conference honors for the first time. He led the team this season with 15 singles wins, including eight wins in dual matches. In addition, Bender teamed up with five different teammates for 12 doubles wins. Eight of those wins came with
Daniel Calver.
