CALEDONIA, Mich. — Davenport University softball placed four Panthers on the 2026 All-GLIAC teams, as
Chloe Parker,
Kailyne Luna,
Hannah Tahaney and
Chloe Bruman each earned postseason recognition from the GLIAC conference.
Parker highlighted the group as a First Team All-GLIAC selection as a catcher, while Luna earned Second Team All-GLIAC honors at third base. Bruman and Tahaney rounded out the Panthers' honorees, with Tahaney receiving Honorable Mention All-GLIAC recognition as a pitcher and Bruman earning Honorable Mention All-GLIAC honors as an outfielder.
Chloe Parker — First Team All-GLIAC | Catcher
Parker highlighted Davenport's All-GLIAC selections, earning First Team All-GLIAC honors at catcher after providing one of the Panthers' top power bats during the regular season.
The transfer sophomore appeared in 45 games, making 36 starts, while batting .306 with 34 hits, 14 runs, seven doubles, one triple, eight home runs and a team-best 26 RBI. Parker also posted a .604 slugging percentage, giving Davenport a consistent power threat in the middle of the lineup.
Behind the plate and defensively, Parker recorded a .964 fielding percentage with 115 putouts and 18 assists. Her production on both sides of the ball helped her earn the Panthers' lone First Team selection.
Kailyne Luna — Second Team All-GLIAC | Third Base
Luna earned Second Team All-GLIAC honors after leading the Panthers with one of the most complete offensive seasons on the roster. The graduate student started 43 games for Davenport, batting a team-best .341 with 45 hits, 22 runs, 23 RBI, 14 doubles, three triples and three home runs.
She also showed strong plate discipline, drawing 15 walks while striking out just 10 times across 132 at-bats. Luna added speed to the Panther lineup as well, finishing with nine stolen bases on 12 attempts.
Defensively, Luna was a steady presence at third base, recording 51 putouts and 68 assists across 129 total chances, while helping turn two double plays. Her production at the plate and consistency in the field helped anchor Davenport throughout the regular season.
Hannah Tahaney — Honorable Mention All-GLIAC | Pitcher
Tahaney earned Honorable Mention All-GLIAC recognition after leading the Davenport pitching staff throughout the 2026 season.
The sophomore appeared in 26 games, making 21 starts, while throwing a team-high 118.2 innings in the circle. She finished the regular season with a 3.78 ERA, five wins, seven complete games, one shutout and 92 strikeouts.
Tahaney handled one of the heaviest workloads on the team, facing 550 batters while holding opponents to a .287 batting average. Her durability and ability to keep Davenport competitive in key conference matchups helped her earn postseason recognition from the league.
In her career, Tahaney has appeared in 51 games with 40 starts, totaling 210.0 innings pitched, 15 complete games, three shutouts and 137 strikeouts.
Chloe Bruman — Honorable Mention All-GLIAC | Outfield
Bruman earned Honorable Mention All-GLIAC recognition after making an immediate impact for Davenport in the outfield during her freshman campaign.
She appeared in 48 games, making 44 starts, while batting .315 with 34 hits, 24 runs, one triple and 15 walks. Bruman also posted a .403 on-base percentage, giving the Panthers a consistent presence near the top of the lineup.
One of Davenport's biggest threats on the bases, Bruman led the team with 20 stolen bases, two short of tying the single season stole base record, adding another dynamic piece to the Panthers' offense throughout the season.
Defensively, she recorded a .963 fielding percentage with 72 putouts and five assists in the outfield. Her speed, consistency and defensive presence helped her earn All-GLIAC Honorable Mention honors.
These four Panthers will look to build on their All-GLIAC recognition as Davenport opens play at the GLIAC Tournament tomorrow, May 7.
