GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Riding a four-match win streak, Davenport opened conference play with a pair of victories, defeating Purdue Northwest 1-0 before earning a 3-1 win over Roosevelt. The Panthers will look to continue their strong start to GLIAC play this week, hosting Saginaw Valley State on Friday, Sept. 18, before traveling to Wayne State on Sunday, Sept. 20.

Audrey Muterspaugh scored the game-winning goal against Purdue Northwest, while Elizabeth Wolter made three saves to record her second shutout of the season. Muterspaugh added another goal against Roosevelt, while Reegan Dunn and Madison Fant also found the back of the net. Isabella Workman led Davenport with six shots in the victory.

The Panthers have outscored their opponents 13-1 during their four-match win streak and have recorded three shutouts during that stretch. Muterspaugh leads the Panthers with five goals and two assists for 12 points, while Dunn has added three goals and Workman and Fant have each scored twice. In goal, Wolter has recorded 20 saves and two shutouts, while Lexi Calcamuggio has added three saves and one shutout in her lone appearance.
