Box Score

ANN ARBOR, Mich. - With only two matches remaining in the conference season, DU sits in a tie for 4th place after a 3-0 sweep of Concordia on Tuesday night. The Panthers have won 6 out of their last 7 matches and are now 18-14 on the year.

With a date in Fort Wayne with #17 Indiana Tech looming on Thursday, the Lady Panthers made quick work of Concordia tonight with a 3-0 sweep (25-17, 25-15, 25-19).

The opening set was a see-saw battle until the Panthers went on a 10-5 run to break open a tied game. During the run that saw DU go up 15-10, freshman Kassie Graves (White Cloud, Mich.) collected three kills and one ace.

DU would extend their lead to as many eight points (21-13) when they got four straight kills from Autumn Williams (Fruitport, Mich.), Ashley Penny (New Hudson, Mich.), Graves and Heather Deal (Ravenna, Mich.). Davenport then calmly took care of the rest of set one winning 25-17.

The second set was dominated by the visitors from start to finish as the Panthers ran off seven of the first 10 points highlighted by kills from five different players. DU then took care of the play at the net as they recorded five blocks alone in the second set winning 25-15.

Looking for a quick night and some added rest for Thursday, DU made sure to play solid again in the third set but the host Cardinals battled back and went up 6-5 early on.

After a kill from Heather Deal ended CUAA's run, Davenport then got four straight points off the serve of Courtney DePriest (Grand Rapids, Mich.) to take a 10-6 lead. The cushion would remain around 4-5 the rest of the set as the Panthers finished the night off by collecting two straight kills from Kassie Graves.

Graves and Ashley Penny finished the night with 15 and 10 kills respectively as Autumn Williams chipped in with seven kills and 10 digs.

DU hit at a .256 clip on the night compared to only .113 for the host Cardinals.

The Lady Panthers will travel to Indiana Tech on Thursday as they look to upset the 17th ranked Warriors who are 12-0 in league play.
