TWIN CITIES, Minn. - The Davenport University Men's Lacrosse team traveled to the Twin Cities of Minnesota today where they defeated the #1 ranked St. John's team, 12-10.

Davenport Jumped out to a 9 - 3 lead at half before the Johnnie offense came back to make it 10 - 5 at the end of the third.  Shawn Beer led the Panther offense, today with four goals and two assists. Jordy Sayers added one goal and four assists.

Ranked #5 in the Collegelax Poll, the win today gives Davenport its fourth win this year over a top 10 ranked opponent. DU defeated Westminster, Tennessee Wesleyan, Grand Valley and now St. Johns on their way to a 12 - 2 regular season record.

DU will now set their sights on the CCLA tournament with hopes of qualifying for their first ever appearance at the MCLA D2 National Tournament in mid-May.
