UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. - MCLA D2 #3 ranked Davenport improved to 9-1 on the season today with an impressive 18-1 win over Saginaw Valley State in the CCLA. DU will now host Calvin College on Thursday, April 1 at the Turf Field.

Having not played in a week did not slow the Panthers offense down one bit and the goalkeeping of Jordan Pier (Grand Ledge, Mich.) was just as solid for the Panthers.

DU got five goals from leading scorer Shawn Beer (Aurora, Ontario) and four from Sam Carlson (Grand Rapids, Mich.) as six more Panthers' got into the scoring.

Jordan Pier got his first win in net for DU.

The Panthers return to action on Thursday when they host GR native Calvin College at 5:00 PM.
