Box Score HAMDEN, Conn. - The Panthers suffered a 4-2 loss Sunday afternoon to Southern Connecticut State University, after giving up a late goal in the third period. An empty net goal with under 1 minute remaining would end any chance Davenport had of coming back for the win. With the loss, DU's record falls to 20-9 on the season.

Davenport would fall behind in the second period after the Owls scored on a power play, but the lead would not last long as Waldhart continued to have the hot hand, scoring his second goal of the game to tie the score back up at two goals each.
The third period was the difference in the game, when SCSU scored halfway through the period. The Panthers tried to rally back, but their scoring opportunities could not find the goal.
