The home team would add some runs of their own in the bottom half of the inning as they scored four runs to take a 4-3 lead.
Davenport, however, would put the game out of reach in the fourth inning. A single by Rob Bolster brought in the first earned run of the fourth, allowing Dan Brown to come home. The final game saw the Warriors ride a strong third inning as they tallied three runs, and the Panthers couldn't string together any run of their own in the 6-3 lose.
After falling behind 1-0 through two innings, the Panthers would tie the score up on a Joe Freist double that scored Brandon Bongard. The Warriors would then add the three runs in their half of the inning for the 4-1 lead.
