Post-Match Quotes - Head Coach Carl Whitehouse and Junior
Kevin O'Brien
Whitehouse on: Playing road match against tough MVNU -
"Travelling to Mt Vernon Nazarene and putting together 110 minutes of shut-out soccer with a solid defense display has given the DU men's soccer team a much needed boost for the rest of the season. Having played six game and having a different starting 11 every game has been tough. We hope to be at full strength when the WHAC begins."
O'Brien on play of his defense in front of him - "The defense played exceptionally well in front of me today. They really helped minimize Mount Vernon's chances throughout the game which was key to keeping the shut out. Hopefully we can build off of this shut out and defend similarly this weekend in South Dakota."
