Davenport to Compete in Civil War Showcase

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.- The D3 hockey team will travel to East Lansing this week to take part in the Civil War Showcase. The Showcase displays nine North vs. South match ups over three days. Davenport, Michigan State, and Grand Valley State will be representing the north and will be going against South Florida, Ole Miss, and Alabama of the south.

Davenport comes into the Civil war showcase on a six game winning streak. Last weekend the Panthers swept division 2 opponent with Louisville with two convincing wins. (7-1 and 11-0) Here is a closer look at the teams Davenport will be playing this weekend.

University of South Florida – Friday October 26, 7:00 pm.

USF comes into the weekend with a 3-2 record. The Bulls have picked up wins over Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University (2) and Florida Atlantic University. The Bulls two losses came at the hands of instate rival Central Florida University. Here is a look at the team leaders.
