Box Score MIDLAND, Mich.- Davenports hopes of repeating as MCHC Blue Tournament champions was put to a stop as they fell to Saginaw Valley State 4-0. Davenport will play in the consolation game Saturday against Northwood.

In the third period the Panthers offensive struggles continued. Saginaw Valley netted their fourth goal of the game 1:00 into the period on a breakaway goal from Adam Leibinger. Neither team found the back of the net for the remainder of the game. John Cruse finished the game with 37 saves for Davenport.
