California University of Pennsylvania Scouting Report
Davenport faces California University of Pennsylvania in the semi-finals of the ACHA Division 3 National Championship on Saturday morning. California PA finished the regular season with a 22-3 record and received an automatic bid to the National Tournament after finishing second in the final rankings of the Atlantic region.

Cal-PA has been led by #13 Nate Bohn so far at Nationals. In three games the forward has scored 5 goals and assisted on another. Leading the team in scoring is #27, Nick Posa. Posa leads the team with 7 points( 2 goals, 5 assists)

Leading the Vulcans to the semi-finals in net has been #35 Shane Bickar. In three games Bickar has played in all three games and has let in 12 goals while stopping 81.8% of the shots he has faced.

ACHA National Tournament History for DU – This marks the third consecutive appearance in national tournament (2009-2011)…3-3 all-time in National Tournament…Last season, lost to Florida Gulf Coast University (3-7) before defeating Cal University of PA (4-3) and Mckendree University (5-1). DU's other win came in 2009-10 when they defeated Dordt 5-1
2012 Post-Season Quick Facts – Davenport finished the season with an overall record of 28-11 and were 11-3 in MCHC play…Mike Soto led the team in point and goals with 51 and 34 respectively…Chad Ouellette led the Panthers with 21 assists…John Cruse posted a record of 14-6 in the net with a 2.33 GAA…Davenport picked up wins over National Tournament bound teams Saginaw Valley State, Hope College, Colorado State and also played Iowa State and Adrian Gold.
