Davenport scored their first run in the second inning.  Paige Sant'Angelo hit a rocket down the left field line for a double.  Burton brought Sant'Angelo home for her first RBI of the day.

The fourth inning brought Madonna's first scoring opportunity.  The nailed two hits and brought one run in.  Both teams would have opportunities after that, but neither would score until the bottom of the ninth.

Sant'Angelo reached base and advanced to third.  With two outs, Getty sent a fly ball to centerfield.  The ball was dropped just as Sant'Angelo crossed homeplate giving DU the 2-1 victory.

Sam Cole got her 17th win of the season on the mound after going the distance through all nine innings.  Sant'Angelo finished the game with three hits.
