Scouting the Panthers
Davenport is coming fresh off a three-game weekend sweep of the Civil War- ACHA Showcase where the team posted a combined 42 points against Ole Miss and the Universities of Auburn and Alabama. 12 different Panthers found the back of the net over the weekend for a total of 21 goals. In their second game of last weekend against Auburn, forward Dugan Kelly scored a hat-trick, helping DU put 60 shots on their goalie and helped beat them 11-1. Goalie John Cruze had a shutout in their last game on Sunday against Alabama.
 
Scouting the Grizzlies
The Oakland Golden Grizzlies walk into this weekends games with a 5-1 record. Collin Elkins leads the team in points with six goals and six assists. The Grizzlies starting goalie has a 4-0 record and 135 saves on the season. Last weekend they swept Adrian Colleges Gold team in a two game series. The only team that has beaten them this season was Missouri State University (4-3).
Last Season, the Panthers were able to beat Oakland in both of the games that they had met in, 2-1 and 4-1 respectively.
