GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Panthers come off of a tough away loss last weekend to host Bowling Green State University for a two game weekend series at Patterson Ice Center where head coach
Chris Green looks to lead his team to their first win of 2014. The weekend showdown begins Friday at 8:30 p.m., followed by an afternoon puck-drop at 3:20 p.m. Saturday.

Scouting Bowling Green State

Matt White has been an offensive leader for the Falcons and leads his team in overall assists and points with 23 assists and 37 points in the 18 games that he has played. Ricky Shaffer is a threat with the puck in his stick and has scored 24 goals for Bowling Green this season.
The team's starting goalie Jacob Butler has held a record of 8-2 with a 3.16 GAA and a save percentage of .885 during the season.
Scouting Davenport
The Panthers are walking away from a 3-1 loss against Michigan- Flint last weekend which gave them a record of 18-5-0-1 on the season. The team has accumulated 122 goals, and along with the 164 assists, makes up 286 points thus far during the 2013-14 season.
Donald Sund is at the top of the assist and points category with 22 assists and 38 points.
Jake Otto has the highest number of goals this season with 18.
John Cruse has an 8-4 record and leads the team in every major goaltender category, posting 338 saves and maintains a GAA of 2.26.
