GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The Davenport D3 hockey team has made their way to Coral Springs, Florida for the Division Three National Tournament which begins Tuesday with Davenport taking on Aurora University from Illinois at 1 p.m. for the first game of Nationals.

Scouting Aurora
The Aurora University D3 Hockey team has posted an impressive record of 15-1 during the season, losing only to Robert Morris College in their second game of the season. The Spartans have scored 135 goals this season, along with 169 assists, for a total of 304 points. Ryan Davlantes leads the team in goals with 23, assists with 26, and overall points with 49 this season.
Scouting Davenport
The Panthers have developed a record of 29-6 thus far this season. DU won the MCHC Division Championship against Oakland on March first which gave them the number two seed in the North.
Donald Sund leads the Panthers in overall assists with 30 during the regular season, and overall points with 52. Sunds line mate
Jake Otto captured 23 goals during the regular season for Davenport and has been an offensive leader all season.
John Cruse will be in net for DU and has already posted a GAA of 2.18 and saved 539 pucks from finding the back of the net during regular season play.
