D3 Hockey Faces Ole Miss on Wednesday in Pool B

CORAL SPRINGS, Fla. – The D3 hockey team hopes to continue their strong start in the second game of the ACHA National Tournamenttomorrow when the Panthers will take on Ole Miss for the second time this season at 3:30 p.m. Following  tomorrow's game, DU will play one more game against California University of Pennsylvania with hopes to making it to the semifinals of the tourney.

Scouting Ole Miss
Ole Miss came up short 8-2 in their game against California University of Pennsylvania today in the ACHA National Tournament which cut their record to 15-10-0-1-1 on the season.
 
Blake Grey leads Ole Miss in overall assists with 20 and points with 35 during regular season play. Cameron Cook has been the team leader in scoring for regular season play with 24 total goals on the season.
 
Scouting Davenport
The Panthers have developed a record of 30-6 thus far this season. DU won the MCHC Division Championship against Oakland on March first which gave them the number two seed in the North. Earlier today the Panthers won their first game of the ACHA National Tournament with a 7-2 victory over Aurora University where Daniel Hume and Blake Damerow each managed to capture three points.
 
Donald Sund leads the Panthers in overall assists with 30 during the regular season, and overall points with 52. Sunds line mate Jake Otto captured 23 goals during the regular season for Davenport and has been an offensive leader all season. John Cruse will be in net for DU and has already posted a GAA of 2.18 and saved 539 pucks from finding the back of the net during regular season play.
 
Earlier in the season Davenport and Ole Miss met in Alabama for the Civil War ACHA Showcase where DU came out victorious 10-2. In that game, Sund had five total points and Otto managed four throughout the game. Freshman Parker Lint also had a goal and an assist.
