CORAL SPRINGS, FLO. – The Davenport D3 hockey team will play their third and final game of the ACHA National Tournament pool play against California University of Pennsylvania at 4:30 on Thursday in hopes of making it to the semifinal round. DU is 2-0 so far with wins over Aurora and Ole Miss and a win would send the Panthers into Friday's national semifinals vs. the winner of Pool C.

Scouting Cal Penn
California University of Pennsylvania is 2-0 in the ACHA National Tournament with wins against Ole Miss and Aurora University which brings their over season record to 22-2.
Dan Bailey leads Cal Penn in every major offensive category with 26 goals and 29 assists for a total of 55 points in regular season play. Zach Stewart has posted a GAA of 1.75 along with 254 saves as the leading goaltender.
Scouting Davenport
The Panthers have developed a record of 30-6 thus far this season. DU won the MCHC Division Championship against Oakland on March first which gave them the number two seed in the North. Earlier today the Panthers won their second game of the ACHA National Tournament with a 10-2 victory over Ole Miss where
Donald Sund captured a hat-trick, Zachary Feher had two goals, and
Jake Otto had one goal and three assists.
Donald Sund leads the Panthers in overall assists with 30 during the regular season, and overall points with 52. Sunds line mate
Jake Otto captured 23 goals during the regular season for Davenport and has been an offensive leader all season.
John Cruse will be in net for DU and has already posted a GAA of 2.18 and saved 539 pucks from finding the back of the net during regular season play.
