All-Time Win Totals
GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The men's tennis team is off to their best start in program history and is currently ranked No. 20 in the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and a big part of that has been the play of Matheus Moreira de Carvlaho. The junior recently surpassed the 100-career win plateau and now ranks fourth on the all-time list and is just five away from second.
Matheus Moreira de Cavalho is slowly making his mark on Davenport Men's Tennis history as he recently became the fourth member of the 100-wins club joining teammate
Tyler Chambers (135) as well as past teammates
Vitaly Shumilov (104) and
Eric Pell (103).
Carvalho is currently 11-9 in singles matches this season and has posted a mark of 16-8 in doubles while playing with four different partners.
Matheus and his teammates will resume play on April 4 when they head to Indiana for a three-match weekend at Huntington, Indiana Wesleyan and Taylor.
