A Quick Look at Davenport (25-2, 11-0 WHAC)
The Panthers are the hottest team in the NAIA, having won 16 straight contests and have only suffered two losses to a then-13th ranked team and an NCAA Division II team which by two or fewer runs this season. In fact, the two losses are the fewest in the nation, thus giving Davenport the best win percentage (.926). Top ranked Oklahoma Baptist is 30-3 (.909) for second-best among those categories. The Panthers, who own a nation-leading .370 batting average this season, have outscored their opponents 231-70 while the pitching staff owns a 2.25 ERA, which ranks third best in the NAIA.

The Panthers have lost four of their last five contests, all of them in the Chicagoland Collegiate Athletic Conference. Colin Willis is currently third in the nation in batting average (.474) but is also proven to be dangerous on the base paths.
