A Quick Look at UM-Dearborn (14-14, 4-0 WHAC)Despite the 14-14 record, the Wolverines are also undefeated in WHAC play after four games. They were scheduled to play host to Madonna Thursday but Mother Nature thought otherwise and forced the doubleheader to be postponed. UMD is coming off a split with visiting Cleary with the Wolverines taking game one 9-0 in six innings but the Cougars retaliated with a 7-0 game-two victory. Offense has been key to UMD this season. It entered the week hitting .331 with 22 home runs and 158 RBI. Taylor Moceri leads the ballclub with a .439 average but four different players have hit more than four home runs and driven in 20 or more runs this season.

A Quick Look at Madonna (21-8-1, 5-1 WHAC)Before rain forced their matchup at UM-Dearborn Thursday, the Crusaders came off a split with Concordia Monday. The Cardinals escaped with a 6-5 win in eight innings to snap the Crusaders' 10-game win streak, but Madonna returned the favor by edging Concordia 2-1 in the nightcap of the doubleheader. The Crusaders have a very strong pitching staff as they have a 1.79 on the season and are the only team in the WHAC to have an ERA under 2.00. Erin Combs and Bree Crampton have been the two aces on the staff. Combs' 1.50 ERA leads the league while Crampton's 1.95 ranks third behind Davenport's
Emily Maves' 1.78. Crampton has a large lead in the strikeout department with 124.
