GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Coming off two wins to start Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play Wednesday, the No. 15 Davenport softball team continues league play this weekend with the Panthers visiting the state of Ohio over Easter Weekend. DU will meet Lourdes in a makeup game from last weekend Friday at 1 p.m. before driving further south to Lima to face Northwestern Ohio Saturday at 1 p.m.

A Quick Look at Lourdes (3-3, 1-1 WHAC)The Gray Wolves have had hard luck with getting games in this season. While six are in the book, 20 have either been canceled or postponed. Most recently, Lourdes is coming off a split with Siena Heights at home to start conference play. The Saints escaped game one 8-6 but the Gray Wolves responded with a 10-2 victory. The Gray Wolves altogether are hitting .369 and are outscoring their opponents 47-30. The three pitchers head coach Jo Ann Gorden has sent are carrying a 3.03 ERA with in 39 1/3 innings. Samantha Shirling leads the pack with a 0.42 ERA in 16 2/3 innings work work.

A Quick Look at Northwestern Ohio (13-7, 4-0 WHAC)The Racers are one of the hottest teams in the conference right now, having won nine straight including wins at Aquinas last weekend and against Indiana Tech Wednesday. UNOH edged the Warriors 4-3 in game one and 5-4 in the nightcap. The Racers are hitting .354 with a 49 extra base hits while on the pitching circle they own a 4.89 ERA and has punched out 58 batters.
