A Quick Look at Davenport (31-2, 15-0 WHAC)
The Panthers remain the hottest team in the NAIA, having won a program-record 22 straight games to hold the best win percentage in the nation (.939). In fact, DU is the only school to have a win percentage above .900 as Okahoma Baptist owns a .897. Davenport's streak has helped it stay in front of Northwestern Ohio at the top spot in the WHAC standings. Davenport is 15-0 in the league while UNOH is 15-1. The Panthers also continue to carry hot bats to the plate. They lead the nation in batting average (.381), hits per game (12.2) and slugging percentage (.558). DU's pitchers also have been solid on the mound as their 2.10 ERA ranks second in the NAIA. Their 225 strikeouts rank second in the WHAC.

A Quick Look at Aquinas (11-15, 7-8 WHAC)
Doug Greenslate's ballclub got off to a shaky start to the conference season but has made a turnaround, going from 0-6 to now a 7-8 league record. While they are in the middle of an 11-game road stand, the Saints headed into Tuesday's non-conference matchup at Olivet having split a four-game WHAC series at Lourdes last weekend. The offense has been carrying most of the workload for the Saints, hitting .295 with 57 extra-base hits. Aquinas' pitching staff owns a third-worst 5.91 ERA with 141 strikeouts.

The Last Time These Two Teams Met
While Houseman Field was unplayable, Aquinas used Davenport's Farmers Insurance Athletic Complex as its home site against the Panthers on March 18. The two matchups, which featured Davenport as the 'visitors' in its own ballpark, were highlighted with two different results as the Panthers had to come from behind in the ninth inning to win the league opener 3-2 while in the evening matchup the bats came alive and knocked out the Saints 13-3. Brandon Cable had a three-hit, five RBI afternoon highlighted by a runaway two-run shot to right center in game two, Brendan Bender led the entire offense tallying five hits along with a pair of runs driven in.
