GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – The road to the Avista-NAIA World Series in Lewiston, Idaho begins Tuesday for five schools in Grand Rapids. Second-seeded Davenport, which is one of nine schools to host the NAIA National Opening Round in a double-elimination format this week, will begin tournament play against No. 3 Mount Vernon Nazarene at 3 p.m. and can be followed on the Davenport Athletics Network with Paul Kabelman calling the action.
