FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Panthers took on No. 4 Indiana Tech Friday night in a dual with the Warriors. DU saw the Warriors take the early lead as they won by fall at both the 174 and 184 pound weight classes. This put the Panthers in a 12-0 early disadvantage and they could not recover as they would go on to fall, 35-3.

The Panthers trailed 22-0 as they dropped their first six matchups of the evening. DU then saw Brant Schafer take the mat for DU at the 149 pound weight class. He matched up against Justin Atkinson of Indiana Tech and earned the 5-2 decision for the Panthers to give DU three points. Indiana Tech responded with a come from behind win at the 157 pound class on their way to dropping DU 35-3.

DU will compete again tomorrow (Jan. 23) in the Alma Open hosted by Alma College.
