MIDLAND, Mich. – The Panthers late push in the third period wasn't enough to win the game, but would ultimately tie the game at 5-5. Davenport went back and forth with the Timberwolves; no team would be deemed the winner after the three periods so an over time period was played. The OT period was only five minutes long and was 4v4, neither team would score and the game would end in a 5-5 tie.

HOW IT HAPPENED-The Panthers struck first in the opening period as
Jacob Blok scored an unassisted goal early in the period. During the 19
th minute of the first period sophomore
Blain Adams would put the Panthers up 2-1 on another unassisted goal.
-The Timberwolves would "win" the second period as they outscored the Panthers 3-1. Junior forward
Zach Schwandt would provide the only goal for DU, he was assisted by both
Justin Crawford and Blok.
-The third period was a roller coaster of emotions for Panther fans as DU would be down 5-3 up until the last three minutes of the period. The Panthers would score two goals in the last three minutes of the third period to tie up the game. Both
Nick Allen and
Jonathan Palumbo would score unassisted goals to tie the game.
-One over time period would be played, it was five minutes and the teams would play 4v4. Neither team would score, which resulted in a tie for both teams.
-Five different Panthers would score tonight, Blok, Adams, Schwandt, Allen and Palumbo.
-Crawford and Blok would get the only two assists on the night.
