FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Panthers are on a bit of a skid at the moment as they lose to Indiana Tech 5-1. Davenport had a good first period, holding the Warriors score-less. However, the second and third period belonged to the Warriors, out-scoring Davenport 5-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED-The first period saw the Panthers play some solid defense, not giving up a goal and keeping the game tied 0-0 heading into the second period.
-Indiana Tech claimed the second period as their own, scoring three goals compared to the Panthers one.
Skyler Emelander scored for Davenport, his third of the year, with under five minutes to go in the period on an unassisted effort.
-The Warriors round out the last period with another two un-answered goals to finish the game leading 5-1.
-Emelander led DU with one goal.
