GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. – Davenport has been struggling during this 16-17 season and dropped another home game against the Warriors of Indiana Tech. The Panthers got some scoring from
Bailey Rietman, however the one goal was not enough to beat the Warriors.

HOW IT HAPPENED-The Panthers couldn't catch a break as the Warriors scored at least one goal in all three periods. Davenport was able to get seven shots on goal during the first period, all of them were saved by the opposing goal tender. The Warriors scored the first goal of the game in the second minute of the opening period.
-Davenport made a slight come back in the second period as Rietman fired in a goal and was assisted by
Jonathan Palumbo. The Warriors carried a 3-1 lead after 40 minutes of play.
-Indiana Tech scored again in the final period to finish the game with a 4-1 lead.
-Rietman scored one goal for DU.
-Palumbo tallied the only assist.

Chris Pakalnins and
Skyler Emelander each were given 15 penalty minutes during the game.
