ADRIAN, Mich. – The Panthers lose at Adrian College 5-2 after the Bull Dogs score three goals in the second period. Davenport scored in the first and the third period, but weren't able to stop the opposing players from scoring four un-answered goals throughout the last two periods of play.

HOW IT HAPPENED-The first period saw a back and forth battle between both the teams as they traded a goal each during the period. Adrian got on the boards first in the 7
th minute of play and Davenport responded with a goal in the 16
th minute of play by
Skyler Emelander. Goaltender
Jacob Mofield was solid in the net as he recorded 15 saves in the period.
-The Bull Dogs pulled away in the second period as they scored three un-answered goals. All three were even strength goals.
-Both teams would each score a goal in the last period to make the final score 5-2. Davenport fought hard and were even with the Bull Dogs in the first and third period, however the three goal second period by Adrian proved to be the difference in this game.
-Emelander and
Tyler Heyboer each scored a goal.

Nick Allen tallied the only assist of the game.
-Mofield played all 60 minutes in the net and recorded a stellar 38 saves on the night.
