FORT WAYNE, Ind. - The Davenport bowling teams hit the road for the American Heartland Intercollegiate Bowling Conference (AHIBC) Championships on Saturday. The men's program placed 14th of 25 teams while the women's program placed 17th of 19 teams at the varsity level.

The team competition format was five baker games and the top eight teams would then advance to the championship round and battle head-to-head. DU rolled an average of 866.75 as the worst of the five games was dropped and the four best were averaged. The women's team averaged 777.5 with a 704 high game in the fourth baker game.
