SANDUSKY, Ohio - The Davenport University bowling teams completed a sweep of the American Heartland Bowling Association (AHBA) No. 3 tournament on Nov. 2, with the varsity and junior varsity teams for both men's and women's taking first place in their respective brackets.

The men's varsity squad competed against six other teams in its tournament, finishing with a final pinfall of 6052. Lucas Buck (third, 898), Dylan Vermilyea (18th, 597), Ethan Lindsey (21st, 561), and Tyler Kelly (22nd, 560) all finished in the top 25 of the individual standings. DU's junior varsity team had four bowlers take the top four individual positions: Sam Woolworth (first, 913), Aspen Pietrzykowski (second, 852), Charlie Johnson (third, 836), and Michael Wilshire (fourth, 835). 

For the women's varsity team, Kasey Eaton (fourth, 759), Chloe Crick (eighth, 665), Carly Snyder (10th, 661), Bella Harnish-Fitzgerald (12th, 658), and Kadence Bottrall (17th, 638) rounded out the top 20 bowlers. Paige Hall (first, 645) and Lauren Taylor (fifth, 577) took the top five spots in the JV division.
