CLERMONT, Fla. – Davenport took the field down in sunny Florida for their first practice before the NAIA World Series begins tomorrow. The team is preparing to take on LSU-Alexandria in the first round of the world series. This will be a matchup between the four seed, Davenport, and the five seed, LSU-Alexandria. The teams have never competed against each other in softball in their school's history.
