INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. - The wrestling team traveled to the University of Indianapolis for the Greyhound Duals on Saturday. The Panthers squared off with three nationally-ranked teams falling to No. 4 McKendree (48-6), No. 17 Ashland (41-0) and No. 12 Indianapolis (40-12).
Jordan Ringler picked up a win by fall at 6:15 against Riley Beard of McKendree in the 141-pound matchup. McKendree won three other matches by fall and had four other technical fall wins. The closest match against Ashland came at 149 pounds as Cameron Jenkins won 8-7 over
Quintin Lopez. Davenport won a pair of matches against Indianapolis. Ringler got another win for the day with an impressive 50-second win by fall against Dillon Hurst.
Kyle Nixon at 184 pounds also won by fall at 4:48 against Jack Michel.
