SANDUSKY, Ohio – The Panthers had a very successful first day at the 2019 GLIAC Tournament. The team went 2-0, beating Purdue Northwest 4-1 and Wayne State 3-2. Davenport will now face Grand Valley State today, as the two are the only unbeaten teams remaining in the double elimination tournament. The winner of the game will automatically advance to Championship Sunday and the loser will have to play again at 2:30 p.m. Davenport split the regular season series with Grand Valley 2-2, winning both games at home.
