ROCKFORD, Ill. - The meteoric rise of the Davenport women's bowling team continued over the weekend as they won the Great Lakes Bowling Conference No. 2 event besting six other varsity programs. In addition to the win, three Panthers were named to the All-Tournament Team including Omani Morales, Merisa Batkins and Kasey Eaton.

Morales turned in her best performance of the season with first place overall and an average of 212. She was the only female bowler to eclipse a 200 average in the field. Batkins placed fourth with an average of 187.3. Eaton was fifth with an average of 184. Karine Bouchard just missed the all-tournament team placing sixth with an average of 183.8. Taylor Harrison also finished 31st overall with an average of 145.8.

Morales torched the lanes with a 264 in her first game and also posted 225 in the third game. Batkins had consistent throughout with a high of 200 in the fifth and sixth games. Eaton started off slow in game one but rebounded with a 212 in the second game. She also finished strong with a 226 her best score in the sixth game. Bouchard had a high of 203 in games 3 and 5. Harrison also rolled a high of 156 in the fifth game.
