ADDISON, Ill. - The Davenport bowling teams concluded their season over the weekend at the ITA Singles and Team Sectionals. The singles play was on Friday, Mar. 13 at the Stardust Bowl and the top eight individuals in the sectional would advance to the ITA Singles Nationals in Green Bay, Wisconsin.
Kadence Bottrall had the best finish of any Panther (men or women) with a 14th-place finish. The competitors bowled a total of six games and Bottrall totaled 1,194 pins. She rolled three games in the 200's with the best one of 210 coming in the second game. Isabella Fitzgerald was the second highest finisher for the women in a tie for 105th. Fitzgerald finished with a pinfall of 1,045 and had a high of 233 in the fourth game.
Conner Weston was the top finisher for the men's team in 28th place. He totaled 1,239 in his six games and started off with games of 235 and 252.
Camden Caswell was the next Panther in order with a 42nd-place effort. He rolled a 227 in the final game of the series and also had a pair of 224's.
The men's team placed sixth overall with a pinfall of 9,897 in 64 baker games. The women's team placed 21st overall with a pinfall of 8,311 in 64 baker games.
