ADDISON, Ill. - The Davenport University bowling teams competed in the annual Warhawk Open, as women's varsity took third (score of 7,599) out of 19 teams and the men's varsity team claimed a top-ten spot (eighth overall, 7926) in a 21-team field. 
The JV squads showed poise, with the men's team claiming fifth place (7,679) out of 17 teams and the women's team finishing fourth (6,344) out of six.
Kasey Eaton had a day by finishing fourth overall to receive All-Tournament honors, tying the Warhawk Open record for the most All-Tournament nods with three overall. Eaton finished with an average score of 212.6 through five games, with teammate 
Carly Snyder (15th, 192 avg.), 
Bella Harnish-Fitzgerald (24th, 183.8), 
Chloe Crick (39th, 168.8), and 
KariAnn Hall (153rd, 125 avg.) helping lead the varsity team to its top-three finish.
Paige Hall snuck into the top 50 women's bowlers with a 47th-place finish (164.6) to lead the JV squad, as 
Emma Whitman (54th, 161.6), 
Lauren Taylor (73rd, 147.6), 
Jocelyne Jean (89th, 168.75), 
Lilly VandenBosch (107th, 135 avg.), 
Kortnie Matz (141st, 139.5) assisting in the efforts. Hall, Whitman, and Taylor were the only three JV bowlers to play all five games.
On the men's side, 
Sam Woolworth claimed ninth overall (218.6) in the individual standings.
