GLIAC OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Matt Whelan, Davenport

Matt Whelan helped the Panthers to a win and tie this weekend by scoring four of the team's six goals. He upped his season total to 10 becoming just the second GLIAC player to hit double digits. He scored twice in the 4-1 win over Upper Iowa and had both goals in a 2-2 tie against St. Cloud State. He took a total of 14 shots with seven coming in each match and seven of those were on goal. He has four multi-goal matches this season and has scored seven goals in the last five matches for the Panthers (4-0-1).
