GLIAC Release
GLIAC - Hayley Kreiger was named GLIAC Offensive Player of the Week on Monday for the third week in a row and fifth time in her career. Last week, the graduate outside hitter averaged 5.4 kills per set while hitting .318 and helping Davenport extend its winning streak to eight matches, the program's longest since 2014.
Kreiger is up to 343 total kills and 4.7 kills per set for the season, numbers that rank first and third in all of Division II, respectively. Riding that eight-match winning streak, Kreiger and the Panthers (16-4, 9-2 GLIAC) will take a break from conference play this week with the annual Midwest Region Crossover. Being played in Hammond, Ind., DU will face Missouri S&T (9 a.m.) and Findlay (2 p.m.) on Friday with Saturday's foe to be determined.
