KENTWOOD, Mich. - In their 2022-23 home opener, the Davenport University men's and women's swimming and diving teams hosted a quad meet including DePauw, Hope and Kalamazoo. The men placed first with 1,200 points and so did the women, doing so with 999 points. Next up for the Panthers is the Don Kimble Invite on Friday-Sunday, Nov. 18-20 right back in the same pool. There, DU will host Aquinas, Bethel, Hillsdale, Wayne State, Saginaw Valley State, and Olivet Nazarene.

"We had a great meet for both swimming and diving," said head coach, Justin Vasquez. "We had a lot of personal best swims, personal best scores on the board and two new school records. Our team is starting to learn how to train hard and compete hard. I couldn't be happier with our performance as a team this weekend."
