ST. CHARLES, Mo. - The Davenport men's wrestling team had their first three GLVC duals of the season after a few COVID-19 pauses on Sunday hosted by Lindenwood. The Panthers fell to 17th-ranked Lindenwood 49-6, Maryville 45-10, and 24th-ranked Drury 35-6.
Crue Cooper was able to get the six points in the Lindenwood dual at 197 pounds. Cooper won over Zach Russel by fall at 4:11. DU had to forfeit three matches at 125, 133, and 285 pounds which resulted in 18 of those points for the Lions.
The first four matchups of the Maryville dual were forfeited with three of those going to the Saints.
Liam Hillary at 149 pounds was awarded six points.
Jack Sherman at 157 pounds had a win over Bryce Raphael by a 12-1 major decision.
Cooper was able to pick up the team's six points in the Drury dual with another win by fall at 4:00 over Colby Allen.
