GLIAC - Leading Davenport University men's soccer to its first shutout victory of the season, redshirt senior goalkeeper Bobby Curran received GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week for week six. Curran tallied three saves against SVSU as the Panthers won their home match, 2-0. Through seven matches played, he has 28 saves for a .800 save percentage and has allowed just seven goals scored by opponents, the second lowest in the GLIAC. This honor also marks Curran's second D.P.O.W award this season, the first coming after strong performances on the road against previously No. 8 Maryville and No. 15 Illinois Springfield that kept the Panthers undefeated to start the year.
