Panthers defeat Cleary at home in first dual meet

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - In their home debut, the Davenport University men's wrestling overwhelmed Cleary University in a 37-12 victory over the Cougars.

The victory marked the Panthers' first home dual meet thus far, opening the season 1-0. DU finished 7-2 in all nine matchups, three victories coming from two technical falls and a decision.

Leading DU was Lucas Nagle with a 5-2 decision over Logan Ladach at 141, Fernando Pena winning by technical fall (19-2, 2:26) over Alexander Bradsher at 165, and Ethan Ramsey winning by technical fall (21-2, 1:33) over Wyatt Clements at 184.
