The Panthers beat Warner 4-3 to start their spring trip

ORLANDO, Fla. - The men's tennis team started their spring break trip at the USTA National Campus on a high 80-degree Sunday. The Panthers played two matches today, in the likes of Warner University and 10th-ranked Lynn University.
 
The Panthers got out to a quick start claiming the doubles point against Warner (NAIA). A win was earned on the rackets of Daniil Khitrou and Subash Paramasivam at the three doubles 6-3 over Sam Routzahn and Richard Hartmann. For one doubles, Jan Stolin and Joel Mast teamed up losing a physical battle 7-6(3) to Justin Karcher and Davide Pelletti. Carlos Henriquez and Simone Pacciolla at two doubles earned the doubles point for the Panthers with a nail-biting 7-5 victory over Nicolas Fertonani and Niklas Huth.

Khitrou at four singles gave the Panthers their second point with a comfortable win over Lorenzo Ocantos (6-3, 6-3). Paramasivam at one singles was ousted by Karcher (1-6, 7-5, 3-10). The third point came from Henriquez's racket at six singles earning a convincing win over Huth. Brenes at five singles gave everything in the tank before falling (6-4. 4-6. 7-10) to Routzahn. At two singles, Stolin got the clinching point for  Davenport in a 4-6, 6-3, 10-7 thriller over Fertonani.
 
The Panthers got hit with a quick jab in doubles, after dropping two of the three matches against Lynn. Carlos Henriquez and Simone Pacciolla at two doubles dropped their match 6-4 to Diego Gonzalez and Gianmarco Amatiste. Daniil Khitrou and Subash Paramasivam teamed up at the three doubles to a narrow 6-4 loss to Ray Chavez and Yaron Guberman. For one doubles, Jan Stolin and Joel Mast joined forces as the match was deemed unfinished at 5-5.

For six singles, Brenes fought hard before ultimately being dropped by Chavez (7-5, 6-1). Khitrou at four singles had trouble in the 6-2, 6-0 loss to Amatiste. Henriquez struggled physically against Garayev (6-0, 6-1).
