ALLENDALE, Mich. - The final away meet before two home meets to wrap up the season took place on Friday at the Grand Valley State Al Owens Classic. The Panthers saw three school records fall including Garrett Melling in the 5,000 meters (14:53.60), Noah Dooley in the 200 meters (21.53), and Ella Baryo in the 3,000 meter steeplechase (10:49.95).

Baryo won the steeplechase and also improved her provisional mark to 23rd in NCAA Division II. Melling would finish second in the 5,000 meters and Dooley was third in the 200 meters.

Shawn Sims in the sprints took second in the 100 meters with a time of 10.79. Nick Ruvalcaba placed third in the pole vault with 15' 1.75". Ethan Scholten took fifth in the long jump with a distance of 21' 10.25". Noah Evers placed third in the discus with a distance of 168' 6". Bryce Monroe took third in the shot put with a throw of 48' 7.5".

Julia Tuuri placed fourth in the 200 meters in a time of 25.40. Scout Nelson won the 400 meters with a time of 57.95. Erin Dorn raced to a fifth-place finish in the 800 meters (2:17.04). Annabelle Schafer placed fourth in the 100 hurdles in a time of 14.90. Mackenzie Brigham won the triple jump with a distance of 36' 2". Lisa Wangler took third place in the shot put with a toss of 40' 3.5".
