ROCHESTER, Mich. - The Davenport track and field teams had their second Last Chance type meet this week on Thursday at Oakland University. The top performance of the meet on the women's side was
Ella Baryo finishing fourth in the 3,000-meter steeplechase with a provisional time of 10:54.93. It did not improve on her best time of 10:49.95 back on April 21 at the Al Owens Classic which is currently 26th in Division II.
Sidney Heugel reached a height of 12 feet in the pole vault and finished fifth.
Julia Tuuri was also able to finish fifth in the 100 meters with a time of 12.40. That time was one one-hundredth off her personal best. Tuuri also took fifth in the 200 meters with a time of 25.50.
Just the pole vaulters traveled for the men's side as
Bryce Albrecht placed fourth with a height of 15-11.75 to hit a provisional mark. It was a personal best and is 31st in Division II.
Nick Ruvalcaba took sixth with a height of 15-7.75.
