GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Noah Evers (Martin, Mich./Plainwell HS) has been named to the USTFCCCA All-Midwest Region list after his stellar performances in the shot put and discus during the outdoor season. Evers will be competing at the NCAA Nationals in Pueblo, Colo. beginning next week in both of those events. He had the fifth-best shot put mark in Division II coming on April 13 at the Gibson Invitational (61-3). In addition, he had the 17th-best throw in the discus at the same event (173-7). Evers set a personal best in both events at the Gibson Invitational. He also had a first-place finish in the discus at the GLIAC Championships (167-11) and placed third in the shot put (57-9.75).
