GLIAC - The Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference has announced the postseason awards for women's golf released on Tuesday, May 9. Freshman Lauren Gervais (Nepean, Ont.) has been named Honorable Mention All-GLIAC for her efforts in 2022-23. Gervais has played 25 rounds this season with a scoring average of 77.92. That is currently the second-best scoring average for a season in school history and only trails Hannah Meloche (77.5 in 2019-20). Lauren took first earlier this season at the Lewis Flyer Invitational on Oct. 3-4. She followed that the next tournament with a tie for first at the Davenport Invitational on Oct. 15-16. Her top finish this spring was a tie for seventh at the UMSL Spring Invitational on Apr. 9-10. Gervais also qualified for the NCAA East Regional and is currently playing in that with a chance to advance to the NCAA National Championships.
