OXFORD, Ohio - The Davenport track and field teams headed south on Friday to avoid the snow locally for the Miami University Blizzard Buster. The meet kicked off the outdoor season for the Panthers.

The team was able to travel with hurdles, jumpers and throwers. Here are the individual results from the meet:

Tessa Blankenship - 16th in the long jump (14-5.25) and sixth in the triple jump (26-0)
Jayla Proctor - 14th in the shot put (36-8.5)
Anna Dixon - 20th in the discus (98-0) and eighth in the javelin (60-8)
Madison Hernandez - 7th in the hammer throw (146-10)

Jaden Herrick - 5th in the 110 hurdles (16.18)
Adam Jorgensen - 2nd in the 400 hurdles (55.19) and 3rd in the long jump (20-11.75)
Owen Alderink - 7th in the 400 hurdles (59.73)
Cody Brandenburg - 6th in the long jump (19-6.25)
Ethan Scholten - 8th in the long jump (18-5)
Noah Evers - 1st in the shot put (57-8.5) NCAA Provisional and 2nd in the discus (162-7)
Bryce Monroe - 2nd in the shot put (53-7.5)
James Horn - 6th in the shot put (48-3.5) and 4th in the hammer throw (159-10)
Alexander Hernandez - 2nd in the hammer throw (164-0)
