PITTSBURG, Kan. - Three student-athletes from Davenport University made the trip to the 2024 NCAA Division II Indoor Championships hosted by Pittsburg State on March 8-9 at the Robert W. Plaster Center.

Erin Dorn raced first in the 800 meters on Friday and placed 13th which was two spots higher than what she was seeded. Dorn ran the event in a time of 2:10.49 out of the second heat in the prelims. Unfortunately, she got tripped up on the final home stretch and lost all her momentum.

Noah Evers finished third in the shot put to earn All-America status for the second time in his career. The third place was five spots better than last year's eighth place finish at the 2023 NCAA Division II Indoor Championships. He tossed it 60' 11.25" and did so on his second attempt. He earned six team points for the men's side which would give them 30th place in the final standings. Bryce Monroe also competed in the shot put and was Second Team All-America placing 12th with a throw of 55' 11.25" on his third attempt.
